Welcome to Fundraisers that give back. Hi, my name is Scott Short and I am a liver transplant recipient. My team is doing a fundraiser for those that need medical bills before and after transplants. We need pills for the rest of our lives and the cost for these things are outrageous. My transplant was 350,000 dollars and I paid $800 per month so I could get this transplant. I was 1st on the list in 2017 in Florida. So myself and other recipients are doing a fundraiser in order to help with necessary medicine.

How this will work:

Anyone who donates $25 or more to our GoFundMe or cash App which is under my name will receive a chance to win a trip to one of the following places: Medellin, Colombia, Key West, Florida, Fort Myers, Florida, St, Augustine, Fl, Atlanta. $25 = 1 chance to win
$50 = 2 chances to win
$75 = 3 chances to win
$100 = 4 chances to win
…..and so on

Each trip will be all-inclusive hotel, food, activities, flight.

I will post everyone who donates on a list on a different page You will see who has more chances to win, but those who give under 25 will also receive something pretty cool. I will put the names in a hat and show you on my YouTube channel where I drop the names in a hat.

The individual who wins will receive the All-inclusive for 2 or a family of four. There will be 2 individual winners

Liver transplant patients will receive 50% of the funds when donations are received from schools. Otherwise, 100% to pay medical bills.

Schools:

This will be a statewide competition for those who want to participate in this fundraiser. Any school who raises more than $1000, we will match it to buy uniforms. This is for schools with uniforms, team names, middle and high school sports, etc.

The elementary school that donates the most money in the state will receive a bus trip to anywhere they choose in the state of Florida with Principal and Parent Permission,

The middle school who donates the most money will receive a trip of their choice to the following: Atlanta, GA, Washinton D,C. or Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This will be for each grade level.

The high school that wins will receive new books for 2 subjects of the principal’s choice. Each grade level will also receive an all-inclusive trip to the Bahamas.

High School Sports and Academia

Sports teams, band, and cheerleaders who donate more than $1000 will receive a match of 1000 to buy your equipment and uniforms and we will buy and send after you tell us what you need.

Academia such as National Honor Society, Band, Debate Teams, and more will receive the same as the sports teams but only need to meet the requirement of $501 is made such as uniforms, equipment, fees, etc.

In Sports, and Academia, there will be one major winner per Sport in the state.
In Academia, there will be one major winner per Extra Curriculum in the state.
These 2 winners will get to compete in another country.

There will also be 2 winners per district that you compete in: The school that donates the most and the school that donates the most by percentage.

For example, if a 2A school raises $200 and a 4A school raises $200, the 2A school will win.

Each Sport’s teams winners will receive tickets to a professional game of your sport paid by us. For example, if your baseball team wins, and you live in Florida, you can go to a Tampa Bay Rays game or choose your Spring Training City.

There will also be a winner per grade k-12. This prize is to be determined (TBD)

Senior Trips.

There will be 2 winners. One by percentage and the highest amount of money donated.
They get to go anywhere they want on our dime, and we can plan the trip for them. Our team is made up of former teachers, travel agents, retail workers, and engineers.

Businesses, Sponsors:

Every business that donates $25 dollars of more will be recognized on a variety of social media platforms, especially those with over 1 million views.

We will send messages to over 4000 business across the state of Florida. We will make a commercial for the top 3 on a main tv channel.

For your information, receipts will be shown where we donate to American Liver Foundation.

Any business that donates a minimum of $25 dollars will receive an honest 5 star-review on Google and my YouTube channel and those who have a much higher number of views as well as Medium.com.

Everyone who donates even if under $25 will receive something unique in return. It won’t be just a Thank You note.

Anyone who spends $25 or more on this site will also be entered into the drawing.

The first drawing will take place on Halloween night on the YouTube Channel, Obsessions with Scott Short. This fundraiser will be ongoing as team sports and academia are year-round.
